Each and every one of you make a huge difference for your hard work and dedication. We are lucky to have all of you on our team because without your commitment and support, our league would not have continued for 20 years. 

My staff and I would like to thank Mayor Steve Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council, and Director Lucinda McLaughlin for supporting our 20th season here at Hamilton Park. Special thanks to Moishe’s Moving Systems for purchasing our reversible jerseys, KRE Real Estate Group for purchasing our shorts, Brian Neary, Esq., Dr. Elliott Shuman from the American Board of Urology, Scott Pollack of Pollack Financial Group, and Josh Gregg from JAG Engineering for purchasing our T-Shirts. Thank You to the Jersey City Police Department East District for watching over us and keeping our community safe. We are also grateful to the Department of Public Works for all of their hard work in getting the Hamilton Park court up to par for the 20th season.

Special appreciation to all of our rain sites for allowing the games to be played indoors this season when games could not be held outside! Thank you to Nick Fargo for letting us use County Prep HS, Nick Mariniello for letting us use Hudson Catholic, and a heartfelt thanks to Alexander Hamilton & Dr. Norma Fernandez, Superintendent of Schools for their help in getting Franklin L. Williams Middle School #7 as a rain site.

To all coaches and participants of the 21 teams that participated this season, you made our 20th season a huge success with your cooperation, your dedication and support, making our league the best League in New Jersey and the Tri-State area. A sincere thank you to all of our referee officials for a phenomenal job this season! Again, congratulations to Patrick School on winning the 2023 Hamilton Park Summer League Championship; job well done. We would also thank Hudson Catholic for a great Championship game, and we are extremely proud of the way you competed all season! Congratulations to Zach Epps from Westfield HS our MVP of the League; we wish you the best of luck this upcoming basketball season!

To our announcer John Hester, Allison, our singer, & DJ MIGS, you are all a part of our success. A special thank you to Chilltown for the delicious hot dogs in town. Thank you to Matt Bruining who did a tremendous job with our Hamilton Park web site. The Hamilton Park Summer League website hit a milestone with over 500,000 hits!

We are looking forward to our 21st season in 2024 at beautiful Hamilton Park! We will continue in making our summer league even better next year. It is a known fact that Hamilton Park is one of the best summer leagues around. Any teams who would like to participate should e-mail us at Hamiltonpark9@aol.com by the end of March 2024. Anyone who would like to donate can do so as well. The Department of Recreation and Youth Development donations help make our league such a great success. Once again, with GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION TO ALL OF YOU, it was great to be back for our 20th season!! The moment you have all been waiting for… highlights of the Championship Game!! It is crazy that the 20th season of the Hamilton Park Summer League is over. This summer has been an incredible summer, and all of our 21 teams were special from start to finish!

Our Championship Game featured number 3 seed Hudson Catholic and number 1 seed Patrick School. This championship game was a thriller from start to finish. In the end, (1) Patrick School pulled away with the win to become the 2023 Hamilton Park Summer League Champions. The final score of the Championship Game was 73-70.

This playoff game went down to the wire as (3) Hudson Catholic pulled away with the win against (6) Newark Tech with a score of 58-55. The 20th season of the Hamilton Park Summer League has officially come to an end! It has been an amazing summer seeing all of our teams compete, and tonight’s Championship Game was an incredible game between (3) Hudson Catholic and (1) Patrick School!

Congratulations to (1) Patrick School on becoming the 2023 Hamilton Park Summer League Champions! (1) Patrick School pulled away with the win against (3) Hudson Catholic with a score of 73-70. The 20th season was one for the books, and we are truly grateful to have run another successful season. The Hamilton Park Summer League would also like to announce the MVP of the Hamilton Park Summer League: Westfield’s Zach Epp! We are proud of your efforts on the court and wish you the best of luck!

Hamilton Park Summer League

The biggest game of the year is happening tomorrow: the Championship Game!! It is crazy to believe that we are approaching the last game of the 20th season here at the Hamilton Park Summer League. The final two teams remaining are (3) Hudson Catholic and (1) Patrick School. Tomorrow’s championship game will be a showdown, and we are so excited for both teams to give it everything they got!

The Championship Game will be held outside at Hamilton Park, located on 258 9th St. Jersey City, NJ 07302. Tip-off for the Championship Game will be at 7:00pm. Do NOT miss out on the biggest game of the year! We are looking forward to seeing everyone outside tomorrow! See you all at the park!! 🙂
