Attention Everyone! 

It is almost that time of the year to enjoy some competitive High School Boys Basketball at beautiful Hamilton Park! The 16th season of the Hamilton Park Summer League kicks off on Monday, June 4th. Our schedule is posted on the website under the tab “Hamilton Park Summer League 2018 Schedule”. Please note that we will update the website every day for scores, scheduling, and any changes to be made. Don’t forget to save the date for June 4th, opening day of the 16th Season of the Hamilton Park Summer League! See you guys soon! 🙂

16^THSEASON

Begins June 4^th

Welcome to our 16^th season of some great competitive Boy’s High School Basketball at beautiful Hamilton Park in Jersey City. It’s hard to believe we have had this successful league for 15 years. Each year, it gets better and more competitive as this year will be our 16^thseason. The Hamilton Park Neighborhood Association will be purchasing a new court for the park and we thank them greatly for their continued support of the league. We would like to thank everyone who is a part of Hamilton Park Summer Basketball League, from our Mayor, Council Members, our Director, Coaches, Players and most of all our Sponsors and you the fans. We will begin our season on Monday, June4^th thru August 8^th. This season, we will be welcoming some new teams into Hamilton Park. We will post all the teams in the upcoming weeks. See you Soon! 🙂

My Staff and I would like to thank Mayor Steve Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council, and Director Kevin Williamson for supporting our 15th season at Hamilton Park.  Special thanks to Moishe’s Self Storage for purchasing our reversible jerseys, KRE Real Estate Group for purchasing our shorts & JAG Engineering for purchasing our chairs and covers. Thank You to Captain Scerbo and the East District for watching over us.  Sincere thanks to all our sponsors for once again for their generosity in supporting the Hamilton Park Summer League. It is with their support and the J.C. Dept. of Recreation that allows the summer League to give out such prestige’s awards. Thanks to Danny of Left Bank for the delicious Hamburgers and Fries on All Star Night & the Dominican All Star Team for a great game.  Most of all, we would like to thank you the fans and the Hamilton Park Community who came out to watch the games every night! Your support is a part of what makes our league such a great success.  To all the coaches and participants of the 22 teams that participated, you made our 15^th season a very successful one. It’s with your dedication and support that our league is the best league in New Jersey and the tri- state area. A sincere thank you to all our referee officials’. Great job! Congratulations to Lincoln High School on winning the championship this season; job well done! Congratulations to Donte Darby of Lincoln HS, who is our MVP of the league. Special thanks to Peter Zirnis, our photographer, Tom Konchalski for making the trip down to Jersey City and watching our future stars, John Nagel our announcer, Allison our Singer & DJ Mike Miles. You all are a part of our success. Looking forward to our 16^th season in 2018 at beautiful Hamilton Park, we will continue in making our league one of the best summer leagues .Any teams who would like to participate should e-mail us at Hamiltonpark9@aol.com by the end of March, 2018.  Anyone who would like to sponsor can also do so.  The Department of Recreation and sponsorships help make our league such a great success.
